Management of industrial projects

A project manager is appointed upon placement of the order and remains the customer’s main interlocutor throughout the entire project. This project manager is responsible for coordinating all the technical specialists and is assisted by a team of experts (process, purchasing, design).

Health & Safety is one of ACTEMIUM’s overarching priorities. ACTEMIUM has acquired MASE certification, a French Health & Safety standard for the petrochemical and chemical industries.

  • Studies: general and detailed design is undertaken by design engineers and drafters under the supervision of the project manager. Every step of the project is subject to in-depth design reviews by in-house experts.
  • Manufacturing: all the steel work is carried out in workshops which specialize in specific materials (steel, stainless steel…). All equipment undergoes Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) when required, prior to establishment of the Acceptance Protocol.
  • Assembly: an ACTEMIUM site manager supervises on-site works up until commissioning. The site team is selected depending on the site location and undergoes extensive technical and safety audits.
  • Commissioning: commissioning (On-Site Acceptance Testing OSAT) is carried out in the presence of a commissioning expert, an automatician and the site manager. ACTEMIUM assists customers throughout the commissioning process and ascertains that performance targets are met.
